Foot patrol (23/06/2026)

After spending much of the past 5 weeks away on youth engagement and Met-wide training, Rick was back home on Eastbrook and Rush Green yesterday, with college ASB and after-school patrols featuring (6.41 miles).

After traveling around the back lake, Rick arrived in Rush Green, visiting the likes of Fels Farm Mews (11.29am) and Eastbrook Drive.

Harveys Lane (11.51am), the Thorntons Farm Avenue alley, Philip Close and the Fourth Avenue car port (12.09pm), all ASB hotspots, were checked on, followed by the Dagenham Road flats and the Co-op.

Return visits were made to Thorntons Farm Avenue and Harveys Lane, before Valentines Way (12.45pm) via Great Cullings.

Fels Field made way for Hooks Hall Drive (1pm) on the Parkside beat, along with streets including Ely Gardens, Park Drive, Home Gardens (1.15pm), Tony Rawson Way and Woodshire Road (1.22pm, p).

Rick then spent time around Rainham Road South as Eastbrook School finished early due to the hot weather.
